“While the dove was asleep” was a decorative painting in progress, when the events of 9/11 happened. As a response to the tragedy of that date I added the raven steeling an olive branch from the dove ( symbol of peace ) which has it’s eyes closed. Two vapor trails in the sky symbolize the airplanes that destroyed the Twin Towers in New York.$1800
